Efekan Kaptan

In the early years of his career, Av. Arb. Efekan Kaptan served as “Assistant Lawyer” at Saygıner Law Firm and as “Türkiye Counsel” for the Altınyıldız Classics and Beymen Business brands within affiliates of Boyner Holding A.Ş., working on employment and commercial law cases throughout Türkiye during this period. He later founded his own firm, Kaptan Avukatlık ve Danışmanlık Hukuk Bürosu. He provides uninterrupted legal counsel services to leading Turkish investment companies and websites shaping e-commerce, including among the 250 largest exporting industrial enterprises steering the national economy. In addition to legal copywriting for television and outdoor advertising, he takes an active role in the management of advertising and marketing processes before the Ministry of Trade, and represents clients before administrative and judicial authorities. Having provided uninterrupted legal counsel for years to holding companies with more than 4,000 employees, he works intensively in employment law in particular, as well as in the Commercial Companies Book of commercial law. He has worked on collective litigation involving thousands of individuals and concluded all of those cases in his clients’ favour. His academic work also continues, with various articles and studies published in a number of journals, notably Terazi Hukuk Dergisi and Leges Hukuk Dergisi. Alongside practising law, he serves as a court-appointed expert witness before the Regional Courts of Appeal on qualified calculations arising from employment law, and acts as an active mediator registered with the Ministry of Justice.
